Well, I'm very sad to say this but, I'm going to close down emufreak. As much as I love it, I don't really have time to maintain it. It takes up too much time and high school is very pressing. Maybe sometime in the future I can reopen it, but for now, bye bye emufreak.

Sup Y'all,
Well, because of legal issues and also because of file size issues, I will not be host any roms for systems past the N64 and PSX unless they are small files. I will continue to host DS roms and probably any Sega game, but that will be about it. If a game is in a rom series but is for something above PSX, then I will still have it. EVERY game in a rom series will be listed. Meaning all the Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Megaman, Final Fantasy and Army Men roms will be listed.
That's all I've got for now.

Well, the site is looking nice so far and the rom updates are going very nicely. My only problem is that I can't renew www.emufreak.com until September 27. So, I won't open the site until then. For now, PLEASE give some suggestions. And, I now have a topsites listing. www.emufreaktopsites.tk That's all I have to say now. Please visit the forum and join. Sup Y'all,
Well, I have deleted the domain name emufreak.com during the process of transferring the domain registrar (I'm moving from Yahoo! to Google). The domain will be down for a couple of days, but it will soon be back up.
In other news, I'm slowly but surely getting the roms ready for transfer to the new server. Once transferred, I'll link them and upload the final pages.
Lastly, the site should be reposted Aug. 16. I'm planning for that day, but I may not have all the roms relinked. I'll try, but I may just post it and finish the roms after tha.
Those are all the updates for now, so I'll post again soon.

Sup Y'all,
Well, I'm making great progress. The new color scheme is looking great. I'm getting multiple opinions so that it will look amazing when I release the site. I'm also updating all the links on the site so that they ALL work ALL the time. There will be much less problems with the new site.
It seems that no one has posted their back-to-school date in the forums. Haven't heard about it yet? Read the last post. Please post the dates. I'm doing a LOT of work on it, but I need to know a date to shoot for.

Well, I'm making progress in the transfer and have finally found an awesome html editor for free. It doesn't require XP SP2 either. It is called Mozilla KompoZer. It is very nice.
Besides that, I have discovered that the temporary homepage of Emufreak, saying that it is down, was down. I have fixed that, but I'm still ticked off at all the problems I'm having.
I will try to remember to post more often and keep everyone posted. I hope y'all are having a great summer break. I will try to have the site finished by the end of summer break, but it might be hard. If you are in school, please go to the suggestions page on the forum and tell me when school starts back in your area. Please give your first name (if you want to), the city where you attend school, and the state. That will help me very much. That way I can know when the earliest date I should shoot for (for posting the finished site [assuming it's done then]). In my area, it's August 4th.

Sorry I haven't posted in a month. I've been very busy and haven't thought too much about the blog, but I've been working very hard on the site. I'm beginning the process of transferring every file on my site to a storage site. This will mean that when I get a rom request, it will take longer to for me to post the rom, but then it will be safer. This will also mean that there is less chance of broken links to roms.
I'm doing a complete overhaul of the site colors. Everything will be different. It will look great now. There will be new and much better 88x31 buttons for other sites to use for linking to us. Besides that, all the roms will be zipped up as .zip files so that they can be unzipped in Mac or Windows. I've also cut out a lot of the junk that was in them. Only the necessary files are in there: the rom and a little note on where it came from. I look forward to releasing it around the end of July or the beginning of August.

Well, I'm going to be gone on vacation this week, so I can't do anything with the site. Besides that, I've just discovered that most of the links on the site are dead. The site will be closed temporarily due to repairs, but should reopen this summer. I will try to redo the site properly and make it work. If anyone would be willing to help me make it, please post it on the suggestions page.

I have just discovered that the site blog link on the homepage was down, but it works now. Whenever y'all find something like that on the site, please post it on the suggestions page.
Sadly, I can't create the site in Expression Blend 2.5 as I had planned because it won't support some things that I need. I will try creating it in other website creators such as Microsoft Publisher or Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression Web 2 Beta. I will update everyone on how it is going later.

I have started work on a new version of the site. I am using Microsoft Expression Blend 2.5 to make it. Visit this site to get it. I am hoping to make the site look different, but not everyone will be able to see it, more than likely. Microsoft Silverlight might be required, but you must have Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista to get it. I will have more updates later on. Sup Y'all,
Well, I've decided to release the project early because of it hindering me from posting roms on other pages. I am changing to James Bond rom page to a Mario rom page and am going to get a more complete series of games for it. I have a list of games and am currently trying to get them all. It won't be easy, but it's worth it. My goal is to have the most complete series of downloadable Mario roms on the web. That's going to be a hard goal to reach, but it will be totally worth it. I may be taking a little break from posting on the site for a few days. I now have a job making the website for my Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew, so I'll be busy probably until the end of the week. I know it doesn't look too much like I've been working (a few roms on the n64 page is all I have to show), but I've been working on a new project but I can't update the site until I finish it. I'm hoping that will be soon, but I will try to do some work today so that I can get the page finished.
